Starting Your Course

How do I start my course?

Click on the blue “Course Dashboard” button. This will take you to the course, where you can begin or pick up where you left off. In some courses, you will need to complete user verification steps such as security questions or voice biometrics before starting the course. Your course dashboard will walk you through setup.

Do I have to take a course all in one sitting?

No. Once you have registered, you can log in and out of the course at your convenience, as many times as you wish.

In some cases, regulatory requirements mandate breaks within the course. Follow the guidelines and on-screen instructions for your specific course.

What if I need help while I’m in a course?

Troubleshooting information can be found by clicking the blue “Help” button while you are in a course.

Why was I logged out of a course?

It’s possible you were logged out for several reasons, such as clicking the logout link, an extended period of inactivity, or attempting to re-enter the course using a bookmark or “favorite” link. You can log back in easily via your course dashboard.

Security Requirements

What is identity validation and how’s the information used?

Simply put, we want to make sure it’s you. In many courses, regulations require you to prove your identity at various points throughout the course. These validation checkpoints may include security questions, content questions or voice biometrics. You will find specific details about the validation requirements for a course within your course dashboard.

We use this information to authenticate your identity, enhance data security measures and comply with legal or regulatory requirements. For specific information related to a course, review the website’s privacy policy.

What is voice biometrics?

In some courses, regulatory requirements dictate how we confirm your identity. One of these ways is voice biometrics, which captures 3 voice samples and then asks you to confirm that information at various points throughout the course to authenticate you.

Course Completion

What are the course requirements for quizzes and final exams?

Assessments are used to verify your understanding of the material presented. Depending on the course, there may be knowledge checks, module checkpoints, quizzes, a final exam or a combination. For the specific details for your course, check your course’s Table of Contents, found on your course dashboard.

If you fail an assessment and are locked out of the course, follow the on-screen instructions for how to proceed. Some courses may require re-registration, depending on regulatory requirements.

Tip: Do not navigate away from a knowledge check or quiz screen, as doing so may count as an attempt.

How do I get my certificate of completion?

Every course awards a certificate of completion, which may be available as a digital download or mailed to you or a regulatory entity. Check your course completion screen for more details.

Refunds

What is your refund policy?

Customers who have not yet attempted a quiz or exam, requested or been issued a certificate, or completed a course may be eligible for a refund. If you meet these criteria, you must submit your request within 30 days of purchase along with proof of purchase and an explanation for the refund request. If you have already started a course, a $5 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Check the website where you purchased the course for additional details.

Vouchers

What is a voucher?

A voucher is like a prepaid coupon for a specific course, which you can distribute to learners who need to take the course. You can also send a voucher to yourself if you need to take the course. Once you purchase more than one of the same product in a single transaction, you become a voucher owner.

How do I distribute vouchers?

After purchase, you will need to login to your account or create a new one. After successfully logging in, you will see your voucher dashboard under the Vouchers heading.

When you are ready, you can invite learners to redeem their voucher. Important note, if you as voucher owner also need to take the course, you will invite yourself and redeem the course in the same way as your assigned learners.

There are two ways to invite learners: via email or manually with a link. To invite via email, you will enter the person’s first name, last name and email. The invited learner will receive an email titled “FUSION course voucher,” and it will have instructions for them to create an account or login if they already have an account.

To invite manually with a link: Click “Manual” and enter the person’s first name and last name. You will then see an invitation link that you can copy and paste into an email. The learner will redeem their course in the same way.
